1) How do I unsubscribe from the service?
There are three ways to stop the service:
1: Via text/sms: Customers can opt-out at any time by sending STOP to the number they receive the messages from (e.g. 84040). The customer will be unsubscribed immediately.
2: Via e-mail: Customers can send an e-mail containing the phone number that needs to be unsubscribed to info@text84040.com. The customer will be unsubscribed within 24-hours (during business days, otherwise on Monday after the weekend).
3: Via telephone help line: Customers can call the live help line number 866-670-0126 (free of charge, 24hrs). The customer will be unsubscribed within 24-hours (on business days, otherwise on Monday after the weekend). Customers can also call this number for all other questions regarding the service.

2) What are the costs of the service?
The costs of the service are CND$2.00 per received question. All other messages you send or receive are free of charge.

3) How many questions are there?
The Trivia Game consists of 4 questions per week.

4) When will a prize be awarded?
Each month 1 winner will be selected. You are entered to win by answering a question correctly. More correct answers means more chances of winning. Winners will be notified by a text message. The names of the winners will be announced on the website.

5) How long does the service go on for?
This is a subscription service. The service will go on until you unsubscribe from the service.

6) I didn't know this was a subscription service?
All the advertisement material clearly state (either visually and/or verbally) that this concerns a subscription service. Further more, after subscribing the customer receives a free of charge information message stating the costs of the service, frequency, information on how to opt out and a website address for more information on the service.
 
7) I didn't subscribe to this service, why am I receiving messages?
We are not allowed to send any messages to a cell phone number if the number isn't subscribed to one of our services. Maybe you didn't send the message yourself but somebody else has used your cell phone to subscribe to the service.

8) My question is not listed in the FAQ's!
